Peach Hot Honey Wings

Ingredients
  

Wings

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Peach Hot Honey Sauce

  • 1 clove garlic freshly grated
  • ½ can peaches in juice drained and blended (about 200–220 g)
  • 120 g honey
  • 1 –2 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Juice of ½ lime about 1 tbsp
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes or to taste

Instructions
 

Cook the Wings

  • Pat the wings completely dry using paper towels.
  • Add the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and soy sauce. Toss until every wing is evenly coated. No oil is needed.
  • Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 22–25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the wings are deeply golden and crispy.

Make the Sauce

  • While the wings cook, combine the grated garlic, blended peaches, honey, sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice and chilli flakes in a small saucepan.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  • Cook for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened into a glossy, sticky glaze.

Finish

  • Transfer the hot wings to a large bowl.
  • Pour over the warm peach hot honey sauce and toss until every wing is evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately while they’re hot and crispy.
