Welcome to DFDEATS (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any subscriptions or digital products purchased through it.

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or digital product, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products or services.

2. Our Services

We create and publish digital food content, including recipes and other cooking-related resources.

Our content may be made available in different ways, including:

Free content
Subscription memberships
Individual recipe purchases
Recipe collections
E-books
Digital guides
Workshops, classes or other special products

Not all content is included within a subscription.

3. Subscription Memberships

We currently offer:

Monthly Membership
Annual Membership

A subscription provides you with access to the content included within your selected membership tier during your active subscription period.

A subscription is a licence to access eligible digital content while your membership is active. It does not transfer ownership of any recipe or other content.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

4. What Your Subscription Includes

Your subscription includes access only to the recipes and digital content that are designated as part of your chosen membership tier.

Not every recipe, product or resource that we create will be included within a subscription. Some content may be offered separately for purchase, including but not limited to:

Individual recipes
Premium recipe collections
E-books
Downloadable resources
Classes
Workshops
Collaborations
Other digital products

Unless we expressly state otherwise, separately sold products are not included within any subscription.

5. Recipe Library, Updates and New Content

Your subscription provides access to our recipe library as it exists during your active subscription, together with any updates or additional content that we choose to make available within your membership tier.

We continually develop, test and improve our recipes. As a result, we may:

update recipes;
improve cooking methods or instructions;
correct errors;
adjust ingredient quantities;
replace photographs;
improve formatting or organisation; or
make other editorial improvements.

We may also retire, replace or remove recipes where reasonably necessary, including where recipes become outdated, ingredients are no longer readily available, legal or licensing issues arise, or updated versions better reflect our current standards.

While we regularly add new content, your subscription does not guarantee:

a minimum number of new recipes;
weekly uploads;
monthly uploads;
uploads on specific dates;
any fixed schedule of new content; or
any guaranteed volume of future content.

The frequency of new content will naturally vary depending on recipe development, testing, seasonal ingredients, collaborations, business priorities, holidays and other operational factors.

6. Subscription Pricing

Subscription prices are displayed at checkout.

We may change the price of our subscription plans from time to time.

Any price change will only apply to future renewal periods and will never affect a subscription period that has already been paid for.

If the price of your subscription is changing, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice using the email address associated with your account or another appropriate method of communication.

If you do not wish to continue your subscription at the updated price, you may cancel your subscription before your next renewal date.

If no action is taken after notice has been provided, your subscription will renew at the updated price on your next billing date.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your account details, including your email address, remain accurate and up to date so that you receive important notices relating to your subscription.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise recurring payments until your subscription is cancelled.

If payment cannot be successfully processed, we may suspend or terminate access until payment has been received.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not cancel the remainder of your current paid subscription period.

You will continue to have access until the end of the subscription period already paid for.

9. Refunds and Consumer Rights

As our subscriptions provide immediate access to digital content, refunds are generally not available once access has begun, except where required by applicable law.

If you are purchasing as a consumer within the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of purchase.

However, if you request immediate access to the digital content and expressly acknowledge during checkout that your statutory right to withdraw will end once access begins, your withdrawal rights may be lost in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights available under Irish or European Union law.

10. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and password.

Each subscription is intended for the personal use of the account holder only.

You must not:

share your account credentials;
allow others to access your subscription using your account;
copy or distribute subscription-only content;
upload our recipes or content to other websites or platforms without permission;
use our content for commercial purposes without our written consent; or
interfere with the operation or security of the website.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all recipes, written content, photographs, graphics, branding, logos and other materials available on our website are owned by us or licensed to us.

Your subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial use.

No ownership rights are transferred through your subscription.

12. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available at all times.

Occasionally, access may be interrupted due to maintenance, software updates, technical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will use reasonable efforts to restore access as soon as practicable.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on our website.

Where changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where required by law.

Continued use of our website or subscription after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or subscription.

Our total liability relating to any claim connected with your subscription shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable subscription period, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply under Irish or European Union law.
